Sir Solomon Ewanehi, GMD/CEO Solewant Group

Sir Solomon Ewanehi is the Group Managing Director and CEO of Solewant Group, a leading player in Nigeria's oil and gas industry. With a career marked by strategic foresight and dynamic leadership, Sir Ewanehi has positioned Solewant Group as a powerhouse in the provision of specialized coating services for the energy sector. Under his stewardship, the company has achieved major milestones, including winning the coveted Africa Oil Company of the Year Award. His role has been pivotal in championing local content development, aligning Solewant with the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development (NOGICD) Act to foster indigenous capacity building.

Guided by a deep understanding of industry demands, Sir Ewanehi has overseen the expansion of Solewant brands into multiple subsidiaries, which include:

Solewant Nigeria Limited- SNL

Field Joint Coating Limited- FJCL

Specialty Protective Coatings and Paints Limited- SPCPL

Pipes and Metals Industry Limited- PMIL

Solewant Energy Training Institute- SETI

These subsidiaries excel in providing advanced pipe, metal, and field joint coating services and well as bridging skill gap in the oil and gas sector. These further cements the group’s dominance in the energy sector.

One of Sir Ewanehi's hallmark achievements is the establishment of state-of-the-art industrial complext at the company’s Industrial Area in Alode, Onne, Rivers State. The facilities in Solewant IA include:

a multilayer pipe coating plant.
a cutting-edge pipe coating laboratory and more.
